Desde hace unos días está disponible la versión 2.2 de Banshee, el reproductor multimedia que viene por defecto en Ubuntu.
Quienes usamos la Beta de Ubuntu 11.10 ya disponemos de esta versión, pero si eres “más conservador” y estás usando Natty puedes actualizar aprovechando que hace unas horas subieron los paquetes a su PPA.
La versión 2.2 trae una nutrida lista de cambios:

close to feature parity with our current C backend. It is still not
built by default and not recommended for daily use, but testing is welcome.
