VLC 1.1.9 [PPA]

Ha sido liberada la versión 1.1.9 de VLC con esta lista de cambios:
- Security update regarding a heap-based buffer overflow in mp4 demuxer
- Update of libmodplug for security reasons in Windows and Mac versions
- Major updates in most language translations
- Numerous updates and fixes on the interface and look of VLC for Mac OS X
- Growl is bundled with VLC on Mac OS X now
- Many miscellaneous fixes
Podemos instalar esta versión agregando su PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:n-muench/vlc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-pulse mozilla-plugin-vlc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc vlc-plugin-pulse mozilla-plugin-vlc
Si tienes el PPA agregado y VLC instalado, para actualizarlo solo basta:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get upgrade

Desinstalé el último VLC porque se me comía la memoría. Espero que ese bug se haya corregido.
