Peazip maneja la mayoría de los formatos de compresión más conocidos e incluye el suyo propio: PEA

Tiene la capacidad de poder crear archivos en los siguientes formatos: 7Z, ARC, BZ2, GZ, PAQ/LPAQ, PEA, QUAD/BALZ, TAR, UPX, ZIP.

Pero además puede abrir sin la capacidad de creación estos otros: ACE, ARJ, CAB, DMG, ISO, LHA, RAR, UDF y muchos otros más.

Además de poder realizar las clásicas operaciones de los compresores de archivos, PeaZip nos permite unir y separar archivos, borrar archivos definitivamente, comparar 2 archivos byte por byte, generar passwords aleatorios y muchas opciones más.

When creating archives containing multiple files or folders, the archive is named as the parent folder of the items, except if “add to separate archives” option is flagged.
