Se ha actualizado Fotoxx, una excelente aplicación de edición de imágenes muy sencilla de usar y con características más que interesantes:

Posibilidad de navegar por carpetas de imágenes usando miniaturas.
Posibilidad de importar imágenes RAW directamente de cámaras fotográficas.
Cortar y dimensionar imágenes.
Rotación.
Remover ojos rojos con un click.
Corregir problemas de perspectiva.
Variar intensidad de los colores y escala de grises.
Transformar fotos en dibujos simulados.
Juntar 2 o más imágenes para crear una imagen panorámica.
Agregar etiquetas, fechas, etc. a las imágenes.
Seleccionar imágenes desde la ventana de miniaturas y quemarlas a CD o DVD (con Brasero).
Varios idiomas entre ellos el español.

A simpler alternative for searching images was developed for those not wanting an elaborate tag system: search based on comments or descriptions saved in the image file (EXIF). Entered search words are matched against image comments (and optionally file and folder names). Wildcard matching is also supported.

Annotate Image: Color and transparency can be specified for both text and background. Watermarks can also be made. Annotation data can be saved in a file, so annotations can be kept and re-used.

New function: Warp Image (linear): an alternative way to compensate for perspective distortions.

Edit functions operating within a small area were made more responsive for slow computers: Warp Area, Paste Area, Annotate Image, Edit Pixels.

Grid lines: horizontal and vertical line spacing or line counts can be specified. Line counts are constant regardless of image size. Ctrl+G key toggles grid lines on/off.

Pixel edit now works within a selected area. This makes it easy to paint inside an area without taking care around the edges.

Select Area by Color has an optional “firewall” mode: already-selected pixels block the propagation of newly-selected pixels.

A few more small convenience improvements were made: Buttons in the Select Area dialog were made available as menu functions with their own F1 help topics. Dialog boxes open near the upper right corner of the main window instead of in the middle. New function: File > Open Previous: go back to the previous file (where you were before a File > Open or Save As).

Bugfix: a corrupted parameters file could cause a crash.
