gThumb 2.11.6

Ha sido actualizado gThumb, el excelente visor de imágenes y gestor gráfico para GNOME.

Esta nueva versión (2.11.6) llega con esta lista de cambios:

* Crop tool: allow to force dimesions as multiple of 8 or other sizes

* Convert the old catalogs to the new format and location (#618302)
* Show an information dialog after creating a web album. from the

* [desktop_background] added ability to reset or open the preferences

* [webalbums] rotate the destination file instead of the original file

* Preserve the exif data after a lossless rotation

Afortunadamente la gente de WebUpd8, mantiene un PPA con varias aplicaciones importantes entre las que se encuentra gThumb.

Pero además han tenido la deferencia de crear un PPA aparte para gThumb por si no quieres que se actualicen los demás programas.

Entonces para poder instalar o actualizar a gThumb 2.11.6 en Lucid, solo tienes que abrir un Terminal y copiar:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/gthumb

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install gthumb
