Rapid Photo Downloader 0.2.0
Ya tenemos disponible la versión 0.2.0 de Rapid Photo Downloader, una aplicación que nos facilita la tarea de importar imágenes desde nuestra cámara o desde cualquier dispositivo removible hacia nuestro disco.
Ha sido creado por un fotógrafo profesional y corre en sistemas Linux.
Su uso es muy sencillo. Produce un escaneo del dispositivo, detectando las imágenes y las presenta en forma de miniaturas.
Estos son los cambios desde la versión anterior:
- New feature: video download
- New feature: thumbnails for Nikon RAW files, and other manufacturers whose RAW files include multiple thumbnails (requires pyexiv2 >= 0.2.0)
- Fixed bug #483222: sometimes images could not be downloaded to NTFS partitions. This fix was a welcome side effect of using GIO to copy images, instead of relying on the python standard libary.
- Error message headings in the Error Log are now displayed in a red font.
- Program settings and preferences can be reset using a new command line option.
- Program preferences are now more thoroughly checked for validity when the program starts.
- Further work was done to fix bug #505492, to handle cases where the system notification system is not working properly.
Si aún no lo tienen instalado, en Karmic o Lucid pueden hacerlo abriendo la consola y escribiendo:
