Rhythmbox 0.12.5

Rhythmbox es un reproductor de audio basado en GStreamer para Gnome que viene por defecto en Ubuntu.

Si bien yo prefiero Banshee, Rhythmbox cumple muy bien su función y lo hace bastante poderoso la posibilidad de agregar plugins, aparte de los que ya trae nativamente.

 Ha sido actualizado a su versión 0.12.5 con esta lista de cambios:

• New cover art search code using discogs.com and MusicBrainz, replacing the Amazon cover art search that no longer works
• Updated Coherence UPnP plugin
• Clicking on the status icon summons the main window to the current workspace
• Bugs fixed:
  • MusicBrainz cover art search
  • Update .desktop file for new GenericName conventions
  • use correct icon name for the throbber
  • fix some button definitions so the button-images setting works
  • display location column in playlists if enabled
  • fix reading of symlinks with non-ASCII targets
  • fix incorrect variable name in gio chunk loader
  • disable non-functional lyricwiki search
  • deadlock setting replaygain-adjusted volume

Podemos actualizar en Jaunty  a Rhythmbox 0.12.5 con el paquete deb que encontrarán para 32 o 64 bits en Getdeb
